The 5400 takes a  proven ink jet print technology (Roland and Mimaki) and equipping the systems with a heavy duty unwind and rewind system allowing 4-5 times the input capacity of a standard roll, the system ink reservoirs have also been bulked up to support longer run times or complete job printing. Just set up the job, select print and walk away for continuous printing for 24 hours.   Buying ink and media in bulk means lower ink and material costs, less interruptions changing rolls and replacing smaller ink cartridges adds increased productivity.
